Our Customers

End Clients

T3, T5 HEATHROW (WESTERN INTERFACE BUILDING)

Our client was tasked with increasing the baggage capacity of the transfer bags between Terminal 3 and Terminal 5 in order to improve the passenger experience when using the flight transfer facilities at LHR.

How We Were Selected For This Project

JCK had a proven management team who successfully delivered Terminal 5 Baggage installation and the PT5TBS tunnel project which links into the WIB building and therefore JCK were the obvious choice to deliver this project successfully within programme, within budget and safely.

Why JCK?

The PT5TBS tunnel enters the WIB building via a ramp, JCK completed the PT5TBS tunnel to an excellent standard, to maintain a seamless installation from PT5TBS into the Build building JCK were selected to complete the whole baggage installation based on their previous projects and reputation for quality, consistency, reliability, safety and ultimately delivery to programme.

Key Stages Of The Project

  • Logistics – Receiving equipment through the CLC, and loading out to the correct zones via a complex lifting system.
  • LV Distribution – Installation and testing of the Low Voltage Network system and associated Hardware.
  • Installation – Installation of Conveyors, Helixorters and Tubtrax over a building consisting of 8 levels.
  • Testing and Commissioning of the full System.
